| Koldwave Portable Air Conditioners - Air-cooled and Water-cooled |
|
Koldwave portable air conditioners provide emergency, spot or supplemental cooling where and when you need it. They differ from typical air conditioners in how can be applied. All air conditioners transfer heat from the area being cooled, and rejects that heat elsewhere. As an example a window air conditioner cools your room while it rejects the heat to the outside air. When you do not have direct access to the outdoors, Koldwave's portable air conditioning can be your solution.
Our portable air conditioners are available in two versions - air-cooled and water-cooled.
Our water-cooled Kompac units use water instead of air to reject the heat. Typically, water is provided to the unit from a sink through our hose kits. The water is returned to the sink after use where it is dumped down the drain. Only a small amount of water is needed as the unit has a water regulating valve to conserve water usage.
Our air-cooled Airmaster units can provide spot cooling indoors where air to reject the heat is provided to the unit through our ducting accessories. Typically the air is from the outdoors or from an unoccupied space such as a ceiling plenum. Our Airmaster units can also be used outdoors for cooling outdoor events such as weddings, partires, etc. |
